Sunday Snippet

Sunday Snippet for Pursuing Honor:

Honor buried her nose in Hunter's shoulder and snuggled in closer.  The smell of him was mesmerizing.  She had always loved the fragrances he chose to wear while in the twenty-first century, but nothing could beat the scent of a freshly bathed man.  She inhaled and released her breath slowly.  No one had addressed her.  There was no reason to disturb her bliss.  His muscles moved against her like an intimate massage.  She would never tire of the feel of him.

Sunday Snippet for Pursuing Honor:

He moved in front of her, forcing her to face him.  "What do you want, Honor?  If Trista can send me home, will you come with me?"  A disturbing realization washed over him.  He stepped back a couple of feet, trying to read the answer in her face.  He stared over at her, horrified at a new thought.  Wanting a clear answer for his next question, he grabbed her around the wrist.  "Is that the reason for the kiss in the woods?  You were saying goodbye?"

Sunday Snippet

Sunday Snippet for Pursuing Honor:

Honor pressed up on her toes and leaned into him. A scorching heat flashed through her body, melting her like an ice sculpture into a steamy puddle. What was she doing? This wasn't her first kiss. She had even kissed Hunter before. Of course, a quick peck under the mistletoe hardly compared to the passion he smothered her with now. She slid her arms around his neck and threaded her fingers through his hair. The air may lack the fragrance of cinnamon sticks and freshly baked cookies, but this gift was long overdue. She pressed into him, molding her body to his. Sleigh bells jingled in the back of her mind.

Sunday Snippet for Pursuing Honor:

She cast a quick glance over to him and adjusted her clothing as though she straightened her lab coat.  It wouldn't surprise him if she produced a stethoscope from thin air and draped it around the back of her neck.  She would be an exceptional physician when she completed her residency, he would never deny that.  Armed with only her exuberance to heal and an ailing patient in front of her, she moved from Hunter's side and toward the house.
