Something new

I am so excited. Have you ever heard someone say one short sentence and have it trigger an idea for an entire book? That just happened and the funny thing is, I won't even use the original sentence that started the process. As is becoming my habit, this new book is different from the previous ones. I can't wait to finish BBH. Fade is going on hold. This new book is up next.

Ohh! I love that 'new book' smell...

I just started on a new project myself!

Hi Helene,

LOL. I know, it gives you an all day high.

It does make it hard to hold back but at the same time, you are more anxious to finish your current wip.

What I love the most is, with each book you write, you think, this is a great book then you get a new idea and you think, the new one will be an even better book than the earlier ones. What a nice happening.

oooh, tell, tell. What is the new book about?

I know. I'm always in love with the book I'm writing, although I do have commitment issues at times. I admire your stick-to-itiveness in finishing!

I'm posting snips of my new project on my blog to keep motivated. It's about a plus-sized teenaged mermaid with an aversion to swimming.

Silly, silly, silly...

Do we get a sneak peek at your idea? Hmm?

Hi Helene,

Your new wip sounds wonderful. You come up with great story ideas.

My new one...right now it is a jumble of plot ideas, very confusing. As soon as it starts to rest and becomes pliable, I'll be able to share. I tried explaining it to someone yesterday and I left her confused. I'll leave it alone until BBH is finished then sort it all out.

Carol,

I just started reading your blog, and it's great! (I hadn't been reading many blogs during the final stages of finishing my ms and agent hunting.)Do you mind if I link it to mine?

And I'm so sorry to hear about your fil. You and he will be in my prayers.

Hi Julianne,

Welcome. Make yourself to home, overlook the pile of unfolded laundry. ;)

I'd love to be linked. Thanks. And thank you for your kind thoughts about my fil.
